Eugene "Gene"'s Story
Life
After finishing at BGSU and Syracuse, I worked in Columbus as Radio-TV Advertising Manager for Columbia Gas. After two years, I returned to work at BG again until 1971, when we moved to California to work at Caltech in Pasadena. I spent eight years there as a fund raiser, then went to work for ARCO (the oil company) managing the ARCO Foundation. We have two sons, one in the Los Angeles area (with our two grand kids), and one in Oakland County, Michigan.
My wife (from Fostoria) and I met singing in the BGSU choir, and we now sing together in the Kansas City Symphony Chorus. We do lots of volunteering to keep busy.
It's been a great life, but Bloomdale has always been "home." I look forward to seeing good friends at our 50th class reunion on May 20th.
